Personality: Illusive is a creature geared towards trouble. She's got a nose for profit, and can chase her greed into many a dangerous situation. However dark the moment, however, she's known for keeping her head about her, and is in fact quite clever in inventing new ways in order to trick and scam others. She's definitely sly, and possesses an extremely flexible sense of morality, to be sure. While Illusive would never physically injure another pony, she's quite fine with leaving them a bit poorer than they were a few days ago - especially if they happen to be rich enough to recover easily from her nasty tricks.
Those who meet Illusive when she's not masquerading as someone else tend to call her quite confident, to a point of smugness. She's also easy to provoke, and can be extremely stubborn and hotheaded. On the other hand, when it's clear she's in over her head, Illusive doesn't mind playing the coward and vanishing from a promised fight or job. However, she has been known to hold a grudge, and can be quite vindictive if given the chance for a little revenge on those who have crossed her.
Traveling is common for Illusive, as staying in one spot invites discovery of her true identity. She might stay long enough for a small crime spree, or one very big theft, but then Illusive matches her name and disappears without a trace. She doesn't mind it all, and in fact takes some interest in seeing the world, and finding new ponies to string along and con. Sometimes she even makes a friend or two, though it's completely unknown for these friends to know her true profession, or even her honest appearance. As such, at times Illusive is lonely, and at times considers finding an accomplice. But then again, that would mean splitting the profit - and that would just take away all of the fun in the gamble, wouldn't it?

Birth place: Trottingham
Place of residence: Maintains a small but classy residence in Manehattan when on a break
Occupation: Professional Thief/Conartist
Talents and skills:
Powers: From her fillyhood, Illusive has been capable of impressive feats of illusion magic. That is to say, she can make it seem like something is there when it is not. This includes being able to make herself appear to different colors or have a different figure or height. She can also make it appear as if she is wearing certain items. However, note that all of this is only an illusion - it appears as if there is a hat on her head, but in reality if one were to try and grab it, they would find that there is nothing there at all. Quite the drawback. Illusive's abilities are limited to simple vision. She cannot actually create items or cause permanent changes. She also cannot give her illusions voice or sound. Other than that, she has the usual basic unicorn abilities.
Character History: Born in the poorer districts on Trottingham, Illusive came from a very simple laboring family. They worked in factories and the like, and generally most were content with this simple existence. No special talents had been seen for many generations. It was quite a surprise to learn that the filly, then called Dusk Bloom, had quite a talent.
It was discovered one night after Dusk Bloom had been told a frightening ponytale by one of her two elder brothers. She lay in the dark of her room and gave a shriek of fright as she saw many terrible shadowy shapes crawling towards her bed - things with many teeth, claws, and legs. She ran to her parents, and they assured her it was just her imagination. Unfortunately, the pony's imagination made for some impressive illusions as the elder ponies were shocked to find when they entered her room to discover vaguely insubstantial monsters sitting about. At that point, with her magic still untrained, they had not the polished perfection in appearance that Dusk Bloom would manage when she assumed her new identity of Illusive.
Since Dusk Bloom, at the time, hadn't the ability to control her magic, it was thus prudent to send her to a school for aid. The family pooled its money and sent her to a more simple academy for magic - they could not afford anything so prestigious as Canterlot. There, Dusk Bloom learned to control her mind and her magic, as well as something more. Possessing an unfortunate amount of imagination and cleverness, she discovered that all sorts of mischief could be achieved. She could disguise herself as the cook in order to steal snacks from the kitchens, or send other fillies running in front from a ghoul popping out of a closet. Soon she began to be known as the troublemaker, and was often in detention, though to the exasperation of her teachers it seemed that the more she learned, the more elaborate her schemes got.
It was then one day that Dusk Bloom was insulted by a young pony named Candy Shine. The other filly mocked her mane and her coat, and laughed that she had not yet acquired a cutie mark, though Dusk Bloom was at that point one of the eldest students. Then, Dusk Bloom set out to put the other pony in her place. She did thus by creating the illusion of a letter, one that stated that Candy Shine was invited to a very impressive dancing event in Ponyville - one that she was not, in fact, invited to at all. Candy Shine bragged about it for days before packing her bags and leaving. Upon her return, much sooner than expected, she was notably frozen and unwilling to talk about it. Later, she began to tell wild stories about how fun that ball had been and such. Only Dusk Bloom was aware of the lies, and she was quite pleased with herself.
And thus her cutie mark manifested, as the bandit and clouded moon shape. When she graduated from the academy - after having been held back a year for disciplinary reasons - Dusk Bloom decided that she would not take the advice of her teachers and do some plain entertaining with her magic. Instead, she was going to do what she liked. The thrill of a successful heist was too much to resist. She invented herself a new name: Illusive. For those who desire to find her and hire her for her skills, it's the only name she acknowledges any longer.
Illusive now travels Equestria, generally making mischief and getting into trouble.
Personal musical theme: I'll get back to this
Personal moto: "Spring every trap - the bait is never unobtainable."
Life Goal: To retire extremely wealthy and her name cursed by every other rich pony in the entire kingdom.
